What is it?
It's an an inter club team tournament with a round shot at each club entered in the contest. We are in the Hampshire division and will shoot at places such as The Spitfire shoot, Bramley, Gosport and Fareham and Wallers Ash Shooting club and of course our own ground. The rounds are all 70 bird sporting layouts designed for C and B class shooters. The fixtures are all on Saturdays and usually finish by 2 pm.
Only the top ten scores from our team are counted so if you are fairly new to the sport don't worry about being good enough as its a great way to practice and meet fellow team members so join up and have some great shooting fun!
There have been some rule changes including No team number limit so clubs can enter as many shooters as they like. There is still a limit of 4 'B class' shooters per team. Other rule changes include Previous CPSA class applies, meaning that if your last CPSA rating was 'A class in sporting' it still applies to this contest even if it was a long time ago and you no longer are in the CPSA. Apologies to last years shooters who won't be able to join us this year.
So to summarise we need as many unregistered and 'C' class registered shooters and up to 4 'B' class shooters for our team.
Please note, you don't have to shoot all the fixtures. you can shoot only one, it's all up to you.
£100 prize for 100 straight!
The club will pay out £100 for anyone scoring 100 straight. 100/300 on DTL.
